Marble tables, newspapers and the smell of freshly ground coffee. Our day starts at half past seven – with breakfast, a Melange and a seat you are welcome to keep.

Our terrace on Thörringplatz is the finest seat in Pöchlarn: sunshine, shade under the parasols and a calm view across the square.

A break on the Danube Cycle Path
Get off the bike, breathe, have a coffee.
Pöchlarn sits on the Danube Cycle Path between Melk and Ybbs – and we sit right in the middle of Pöchlarn. After 20 or 80 kilometres you will find shade, cold drinks, warm food and a spot for your bike within sight.

As evening sets in, the coffeehouse takes on a new character as a bar.
Dimmed light, full tables, music in the background and cocktails mixed in front of you. Anyone who thinks a traditional café is a morning-only affair has never been here at ten at night.
